About Diaper Styles
Some KCK brand diapers are available in two styles, AIO and Pocket. Those without the option to choose, are pocket style only.
AOI means All-In-One. This style of diaper has soaker layers permanently sewn into the middle section of the diaper. I do this by attaching the soaker layers made of the absorbent fabric of your choice to the underside of the stay dry lining. The the lining and the waterproof cover are sewn together. After the elastic is applied, the diaper is turned and topstitched around the elastic to form casings. Usually AOIs do not have a pocket opening, however some people prefer to have a pocket for adding optional extra soaker inserts.
POCKETdiapers generally have a pocket located at the top of the back end of the diaper. KCK brand diapers have a signature welt pocket opening in the front end of the diaper for a neat, tailored look and less gaping of the pocket opening. The pocket allows access for inserting and removing soakers. Having a pocket in the diaper allows for versatility in how many soaker layers you want to use in the diaper. This is an especially nice option for heavy wetters and for overnight use.
KCK ONE vs SOPO
WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE?
KCK ONE has more versatility for sizing which comes in handy with growing babies and children. It's also nice for adult's whose body weight fluctuates. It has a fuller cut which makes it a better choice for overnight wear.
SOPO is designed for use in the daytime when the wearer has opportunities to use the toilet between changes. It has a slimmer cut and side closures with elasticized waist to make pulling up and down easier.
