Bamboo Fleece is a soft, silky, very absorbent fabric made of 70% viscose from organic bamboo and 30% organic cotton. It is knit on one side and brushed on the other and is commonly used in diapers, soakers, and clothing.
Cotton Sherpa is an absorbent 90/10 cotton-poly fleece with one knit side and one soft, nappy side. The polyester side is on the back only for stability. It is commonly used in diapers, soakers and inner linings of cold weather clothing.
Zorb is a proprietary blend of natural and man made fibers designed specifically for diaper soaker use and is made and distributed by Wazoodle. It soaks up to 10x it's weight in seconds.
Zorb2 is a new version of the Zorb product described above. The Zorb fibers are covered and quilted with a thin bamboo/cotton knit fabric, so it performs beautifully. It is easy to use and easy to launder.

Flat Fabric Insert
Zorb core inserts are made with one layer of Zorb lined on the top and bottom with your choice of bamboo or cotton fabric.
Fabric core inserts are made with 3 layers of you choice for bamboo or cotton fabrics. Zorb2 fabric core soakers are made of 2 layers of Zorb2 fabric.
Flat soakers are single layer square pieces of fabric cut in dimensions prescribed by the pattern for use in pocket diapers. These squares are generally folded into thirds and inserted lengthwise in the the diaper. They can be made bamboo fleece, cotton Sherpa and Zorb2.
Sewn-in soakers are permanently attached inside the diaper by sewing it onto the stay-dry wicking layer of the diaper. Diapers with this type of soaker may be made with or without a pocket.
